Dear Friends,
The
following is an update from Dr. Jessup from Thursday, April 5, 2012
at 10:35 a.m.
This morning I
met with the surgeon who removed the tumor from my lung and I took
him the CT Scan and the report from the radiologist that was done on
Monday. When he came into the office he said, "I have some
very good news for you but you likely have already read the report."
I replied that I had but I didn't fully understand some of it.
He went on to say that the report shows the tumor deep in the
lung is in regression and is reduced in size by about half. He
also said there are no new tumors anywhere else in the vital area of the
body which the scan examined. He made it clear that this could
change but that this report is the best report since the cancer was
discovered.
I will be
seeing two oncologists later this month but I don't think they will
give any counter claims to the surgeon.
We are so very
thankful to the Lord for this report and we are praising Him for what
HE HAS DONE!!!!! Thank you for praying and please continue to
pray for us. I am doing well, walking a mile in under 20
minutes and feeling the best I have felt in the past two years.
I have been able to have my travel health insurance reinstated
and Lord willing, preachers will allow me to come and speak in their
churches. It is not easy for me to hear, "I know you are
not feeling well......." I am doing fine and ready to
continue the wonderful ministry God has given us.
We know this battle is not over and that things can change quickly.
However, we are going to faithfully serve Him with all our
might as long as we can. Nothing has changed in that area.

Dr.
